Synthetic Muses is a collection of AI-generated portraits that explores themes surrounding the construction of identity and the intersection between technology and the body, drawing inspiration from science fiction and futuristic imagery.
Utilising photographic self-portraits as a starting point, the series portrays female characters and androgynous figures simultaneously alien to us yet strangely familiar, disrupting visual representations of femininity routinely represented across contemporary society.
